Heads Up: Scammers Are Impersonating Quix Sites
Scammers create fake accounts pretending to be Quix Sites — we've seen lookalikes like athena.quicksites@gmail.com — and contact clients offering to "fix" or "update" your site. If you pay or hand over access, they can lock you out.
This targets both our Wix and Shopify customers. Scammers pull client details from public reviews and portfolio pages, so we can't fully block it — here's how to protect yourself.
How to Verify It's Really Us
Check the sender's email address
Our team only emails from @quixsites.com addresses. Look closely for misspellings, extra characters, or free email domains (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) posing as us.
Contact us directly, don't reply to the message
If a message claims to be from Quix Sites, reach out through our official Contact page or a phone number/email you already have on file — not the details in the suspicious message.
Never share your Wix or Shopify password, or your 2-step verification code
We only ever need Collaborator/Staff access to your site, granted through Wix's Roles & Permissions or Shopify's staff account settings. We will never ask for your login credentials.
If You Get a Suspicious Email or Message
Don't click any links, download attachments, or reply. Instead:

Forward the message to us at hi@quixsites.com so we can verify it and warn other clients if needed.

If it's posing as a Wix Partner communication, report it to Wix directly at reportphishing@wix.com (include full email headers if possible — instructions here).

If it's targeting you as a Shopify merchant, report it to Shopify directly at phishing@shopify.com (Shopify's phishing guidance here).
